Metro - Rethinking I-94 between Minneapolis and St. Paul: Planning for the future

Community visioning workshops

Do you live by I-94? How is your commute? Do you feel safe driving on, biking/walking across I-94?

We want you to tell us how I-94 through the Twin Cities affects your life. Join us at any of our upcoming community visioning sessions to share your experiences and offer feedback about the current state of the I-94 corridor:

June 12, 5-7 p.m.
Merriam Park Rec Center
2000 St. Anthony Ave., St. Paul (Spanish, Somali and Hmong interpreters provided)

June 13, 5-7 p.m.
Hubbs Center for Lifelong Learning on University
1030 University Ave. W., St. Paul (Spanish, Somali, Hmong and Karen interpreters provided)

June 19, 5-7 p.m.
Hope Community Center
611 E. Franklin Ave., Minneapolis (Spanish and Somali interpreters provided)

June 22, 5-7 p.m.
Dayton’s Bluff Rec Center
800 Conway St., St. Paul (Spanish and Hmong interpreters provided)

June 28, 2-4 p.m. AND 6-8 p.m.
Brian Coyle Center
420 15th Ave. S., Minneapolis (Somali and Oromo interpreters provided)

Your input will used by us to better identify and articulate neighborhood-level transportation values, issues and concerns that will help shape and prioritize future transportation investment along I-94. Additionally, it will help us build out our next steps of community engagement around transportation concepts that align with a shared vision for I-94.

Each workshop will focus on the I-94 corridor as a whole, as well as specific geographical areas/communities along I-94. The geographical areas of interest will coincide with the location of the workshops (e.g., The June 13 workshop at Hubbs Center for Lifelong Learning will cover St. Paul’s Midway and adjacent areas).

Please note that the workshops will be in an open house format, so you can come at any time, and for any length of time between the hours listed above. There will be no formal presentations at any of the six events, and interpreters and translated materials will be provided.

To request an ASL or foreign language interpreter, not listed next to each workshop above, or other reasonable accommodation, contact Janet Miller (651-366-4720). Please request at least one week in advance.

We look forward to talking with you!
