There are still a few spots available in next week's training for lake service provider businesses interested in learning hot-water/high-pressure aquatic invasive species decontamination methods. Attendees will learn to operate decontamination equipment and receive hands-on practice in cleaning boats using DNR hot-water/high-pressure decontamination units. The names of businesses that complete the decontamination training will be listed on the DNR website.
The training
is scheduled on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 (1:00-4:30 p.m.) at Tonka Bay Marine.
To register or get more information about decontamination training, contact AIS Training Coordinator, April Rust at april.rust@state.mn.us or 651.259.5706/ 1.888.MINN.DNR.

Need to Renew in 2015?
If you attended training and received your permit in 2012, then your business will need to renew next year.
We are currently scheduling over 30 classes statewide between January and May, 2015.
The DNR will send email and postcard courtesy reminders later this fall when the 2015 training schedule and online renewal are available.
