Weekly Stream Conditions
Snowmelt has brought life to many rivers in the lower and middle shore (Lester to Cross), but most rivers in the upper shore (Temperance to Brule) remain low and ice covered. Stream conditions will change rapidly over the next week with warm temperatures and rain in the forecast. Stream temperatures remain cold (33-35°F) with shelf ice still present in most rivers and snow still present throughout most watersheds. Anglers have started fishing streams in the lower shore.
