Welcome to the first edition of the education newsletter from the Minnesota DNR Fish and Wildlife Outreach Program. Approximately once a quarter, we will highlight a variety of outdoor, recreation, and natural resource outreach programs, grant opportunities, and resources to help connect youth, adults and families to Minnesota’s great outdoors.

You are receiving this newsletter because you had previously signed up for a DNR education program newsletter or emails from Fish and Wildlife (FAW), including the No Child Left Inside grant program. Going forward, this newsletter will serve as the primary notification for education programs and grants through Fish and Wildlife Outreach.

If you no longer wish to receive this GovDelivery newsletter, you can unsubscribe or otherwise manage your subscriptions using the link below. Through subscriber services, you will also have the opportunity to sign up for several other DNR education-related newsletters, including:

  • Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) – Sign up to receive the BOW program bulletin to be notified about upcoming classes to learn skills related to hunting, fishing and outdoor sports.
  • Minnesota Project WET – The “SPLASH!” newsletter is sent out quarterly informing educators, trained participants and partners on updates pertaining to Project WET materials, exciting news and information on water resources.
  • Project Learning Tree (PLT) – PLT sends one newsletter each month during the school year. Content highlights seasonal resources and lessons that can be used immediately by preschool, elementary, middle and high school teachers, along with direct links to online and in-person teacher training events.
  • Naturalist news from Itasca State Park – Phenology, naturalist programs, and other current news from Itasca State Park. Published weekly in the summer, less often in winter.

Thanks for your interest in connecting others with Minnesota’s Great Outdoors!
