Minnesota Waters of Lake Superior
The Lake Trout season came to an end on October 8th and reopens on December 1st. The season for all Salmon species and Steelhead is continuous on the lake, though only clipped Steelhead may be harvested. The Walleye season is open until March 1, 2024. The Brook Trout season has been closed since September 4th below and September 30th above the posted tributary boundaries. For more information on Lake Superior Fishing regulations and seasons see pages 26-28 in the 2023 Minnesota Fishing Regulations. This report will start again on May 30th next year.
