DNR text messaging changes – sending number change

There has been a change in the method of sending and subscribing to text messages from the DNR that we wanted to let you know about.
In the past when you received a text notification from the DNR, the message sender used to be shown as GOV311, (468311).
Starting Sept. 6, text messages from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources now come from 66468.
Note: This number is set up for outbound text messages only and does not accept incoming calls.
