What's in the training?
This training gives an overview of the benefits that the HSP program offers, including descriptions of the three requirements of the program:
1) eligible person 2) eligible place 3) eligible provider
Who should take the training?
This training meets the requirement in the HSP agreement for providers who must complete housing support orientation training offered by the commissioner.
This training is recommended for new financial assistance eligibility workers and supervisors who have not worked with the HSP program in the past.
Additionally, this training is a great place to start for counties, Tribes, and community members who want an introduction to the Housing Support Program. This training does not encompass all content needed to operate the program, but it gives a solid foundation of knowledge.
