Following updates the State of Minnesota made to the Provider Hub earlier this month, these improvements are now live in the online tool.
Licensed child care centers: Room square footage defect fixed in provider actions issued for initial applications
If, when reviewing an initial application for a licensed child care center, licensors issued a provider action to update the square footage of a room, the provider would receive the notification but was unable to update the square footage as requested.
This defect is now fixed. Applicants should now be able to update room square footage in response to a provider action.
Get help: A provider action requires you to submit more information, upload a document or correct a mistake related to your license request or application in the Provider Hub. Licensing staff create provider actions.
Licensed child care centers can get help with this in the provider actions section of the Provider Hub licensing learning library.
CCAP notices in the Provider Hub now identify the case number
Provider notices for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) related to a case, such as service authorizations, were not displaying the case number.
Now, child care providers will find the case number on all applicable CCAP notices they receive in the Provider Hub.

As child care centers prepare for the new school year, a reminder to request approval of program changes — like operating hours, ages served or the Authorized Agent — in the Provider Hub.

Tip: Submit your request well before you want the change to take effect. You may also want to send an email to your licensor to ensure they received your change request.
Many change requests need to be reviewed and approved by your licensor before you can operate under the new information.

Tip: Make sure your staff have the access they need in the Provider Hub to draft and submit change requests.
Authorized Agents and users with Delegated Authority access can submit a change request.
They can also approve and submit a change request that’s first drafted by a user with Create/Submit access.
