Cultural and Ethnic Communities Leadership Council seeks new members

About the CECLC

The Cultural and Ethnic Communities Leadership Council (CECLC) is seeking applicants for council members. 

The CECLC was established by the Minnesota Legislature in 2013 to advise the human services commissioner on reducing disparities affecting racial and ethnic groups.

The council is currently accepting applications for members representing: 

  • Advocacy Group Representative (1 seat)
  • American Indian Community Representative (2 seats)
  • Community Member Representing Diverse Cultural and Ethnic Community (3 seats)
  • County Provider serving large cultural and ethnic communities (1 seat)
  • Department of Human Services Employees (2 seats)
  • Faith-based/Spiritual Organization Representative (1 seat)
  • Parent Of Child/Adolescent Program Participant (1 seat)

How to apply

Interested applicants must complete an application and supplemental questionnaire through the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Boards and Commissions website by the end of day Thursday, Aug. 27.
