LoginMN access to MN–ITS

The LoginMN transition took place over the weekend. Going forward, MHCP providers will use LoginMN to access MN–ITS.

You will not be able to log into MN–ITS until after registration is complete. The email to register was sent from noreply_prod@login.mn.gov on June 13, 2026. Look for a message from that address specifically.

For important details on how to access and navigate the new system, please read the "Instructions for accessing MN–ITS through LoginMN" provider news message that was posted June 15, 2026, in its entirety.

For a guided walk-through with visuals and screenshots, watch the new video Accessing MN–ITS through LoginMN.

Wanted: Provider feedback on impact of ICE presence

In partnership with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School, the department has launched a survey to understand how providers experienced the period of heightened federal immigration enforcement activity between December 2025 and February 2026. The survey closes June 26. Responses are anonymous.

Terminated due to revalidation?

For providers who have received a termination notice due to an incomplete or failed provider revalidation, the appeals process is the only option to continue providing high-risk services as an MHCP provider. Providers can appeal their termination decision within 60 days. If you intend to appeal, please do so right away. Be sure to follow the instructions in your termination notice closely and timely.

Watch this video to learn how to check if you received a termination notice and what to do if you decide to appeal, and review this graphic explaining the steps in the appeals process.

For the most up-to-date information about revalidation, termination, appeals, and the process for resuming billing, watch the MHCP Provider News webpage and the FAQs for providers webpage. Both are updated regularly.

High call volume still slowing response time at PRC

Due to the high volume of inquiries about revalidation, callers to the Provider Resource Center (PRC) will likely experience longer than usual wait times. Consider using the online contact form to submit your question.

Upcoming changes to obstetrics services coding

Currently, providers can bill obstetric services globally or by component. However, on Jan. 1, 2027, the American Medical Association is eliminating the global CPT codes. Providers have access to these codes until Dec. 31, 2026. Review these resources for more information:

Additionally, in June and August the department will host open office hours to answer providers' questions. Register today!
