For providers who have received a termination notice due to an incomplete or failed provider revalidation, the appeals process is the only option to continue providing high-risk services as an MHCP provider. Providers can appeal their termination decision within 60 days. If you intend to appeal, please do so right away. Be sure to follow the instructions in your termination notice closely and timely.

Currently, providers can bill obstetric services globally or by component. However, on Jan. 1, 2027, the American Medical Association is eliminating the global CPT codes. Providers have access to these codes until Dec. 31, 2026. Review these resources for more information:
