As the department nears its May 31 deadline to complete provider revalidations for all 5,583 providers in the 13 Medicaid service categories designated as high risk, more disenrollment notices are being sent via MN-ITS.
Watch the Understanding Disenrollment Notices video (3 min) to learn how to check if you received a notice, and what to do it you decide to appeal.
Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention agencies must submit a provisional license application by May 31, 2026, to avoid enrollment termination. EIDBI provider agencies that have not yet submitted applications must do so immediately to remain enrolled and eligible to provide services. There will be no opportunity to appeal termination after the 5/31 deadline.
The MN–ITS transition to LoginMN has been postponed from the May 30 date announced in the previous newsletter. Currently there is no confirmed date for the transition.
Providers must still validate contact info before the switch to keep access to MN–ITS accounts.
If you have not validated yet, when you login to MN–ITS you will see a pop-up with instructions. No pop-up means you're all set. More details will be posted on Provider News.
We have learned that some providers have received phone calls from unauthorized parties requesting details about enrollment records and private health information, under the guise of completing the revalidation process.
Department staff will never request patient or recipient information. As part of revalidation, DHS representatives may request staff information — limited to individuals who meet disclosure requirements — but never over the phone. DHS may also ask about required professional or licensed affiliated staff, including roles, responsibilities, and Medicaid affiliations.

The department has added an extra Waiver and AC Resources and MN–ITS Training session for HCBS waiver providers completing revalidation requirements: June 2–3, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Registration will close Monday, June 1. Detailed training information is available here.
In partnership with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School, the department has launched a survey to understand how providers experienced the period of heightened federal immigration enforcement activity between December 2025 and February 2026. The survey closes June 26. Responses are anonymous.
