MN–ITS is scheduled to move to LoginMN — Minnesota's new secure centralized platform to access state services — on May 2. To maintain access to MN–ITS, you must validate your email and phone number before the switch. If you have not validated yet, when you login to MN–ITS you'll get a pop-up window with instructions. No pop-up means you're all set. For more information, refer to the first item under "Reminders" on Provider News and Updates.
The owner or managing employee designated as the biller must complete the Waiver and AC Resources and MN–ITS training within six months of new enrollment for HCBS waiver and AC program services. Providers who are required to but have never completed this training must do so before May 31, 2026, as part of revalidation.
Find a session and register now.
Providers who have completed the training will have received a certificate via MN-ITS mailbox. Not completing this and other revalidation requirements could result in termination.
Informed directly by provider questions and grouped by topic, a new webpage provides detailed answers to common questions about revalidation. The page is updated regularly. If you still have questions, send us an email at revalidation.inquiries.dhs@state.mn.us.
Q: How do providers with multiple locations ensure a designee is available for an unannounced revalidation site visit?
A: It is the provider’s responsibility to establish a plan that ensures someone is available to conduct a site visit for each of their locations. The individual must be able to verify the business operations, provide requested documentation and answer basic compliance and operation questions. Individuals such as managers, owners or authorized agents can typically best provide this information.
As the revalidation effort continues and we prioritize revalidating providers in the 13 high-risk benefit areas, enrollment queues have become backlogged. Providers who are not part of off-cycle revalidation may experience delays in the enrollment process.
It may be because your MN–ITS administrator hasn’t assigned access to the folders you need. DHS cannot assign access to MN–ITS functions or mailbox folders, only MN–ITS administrators can make those changes. Contact your organization’s administrator for assistance.
