Waiver and AC Resources and MN–ITS training is a requirement for initial enrollment and revalidation for all HCBS Waiver providers. Providers who have never met this requirement must do so before May 31, 2026. Additional sessions have been added in April to meet demand.
Find a session and register now.
Providers who have completed the training will have received a certificate of completion via MN-ITS Mailbox. Failure to meet this and other revalidation requirements risks termination.
Informed directly by provider questions, a new FAQ webpage gathers detailed answers to common questions about revalidation from a provider perspective. (This differs from general Minnesota Revalidate information.) The page will be updated regularly. If you have unanswered questions about revalidation, we want to know! Submit them online and we'll share answers here, in the FAQ or on the roundtable meetings.
Q: Can providers submit revalidation paperwork if their change in licensing information form is still in process with the department?
A: Yes, as long as the form is in process with DHS Licensing, you do not need to wait to submit your revalidation documentation to Provider Eligibility and Compliance. If you submit documentation and your license information is not current, provider eligibility staff will contact licensing to verify the update is in process.
As the revalidation effort continues and we prioritize revalidating providers in the 13 high-risk benefit areas, enrollment queues at the department have become backlogged. Providers who are not part of off-cycle revalidation may experience delays in the enrollment process.
It may be because your MN–ITS administrator hasn’t assigned access to the folders you need. DHS cannot assign access to MN–ITS functions or mailbox folders, only MN–ITS administrators can make those changes. Contact your organization’s administrator for assistance.
