Mission

In collaboration with community and partners, the Minnesota Department of Human Services supports people to thrive in community and live their healthiest and fullest lives.

Vision

All people in Minnesota have what they need to thrive in community with no disparities.

Reminder: Action needed for pre-payment review

Be sure to check the PREPAYDOCREQUEST folder in your MN–ITS mailbox (miscellaneous received) for requests for documentation. Providers without MN–ITS access will get letters via U.S. mail. It is critical to act on these requests to stay in compliance with the pre-payment review process.

LoginMN transition

MN–ITS will move to LoginMN in June. To ensure your login credentials transfer, validate your email and phone number by following the instructions in the pop-up message. No pop-up means your info is already validated. This is only needed once per username. For details, read the Feb. 6 provider news ACTION REQUIRED: MN–ITS email and phone number verification.

Off-cycle revalidation

The department has started outbound calls to providers — from the number 651-431-2700 — with information about provider revalidation.

Still have questions? Watch an instructional video about the revalidation process, check the FAQ and resource links online, attend an MPSE Q&A training session, or contact the Provider Resource Center.

Second round of fact checks

Last month the department launched a Fact Check webpage correcting exaggerations and misinformation about Medicaid fraud. It highlights work supporting Governor Walz's executive order 25-10 and our commitment to lead the nation in program integrity.

The second round of fact checks has been posted. Topics include the federal government’s decision to stop $259 million in Medicaid reimbursements, Optum report redactions and the governor's proposed fraud-fighting package.
