A new way to communicate with you

Knowledge is power, especially in times of stress. This new weekly email aims to keep providers informed of ongoing, new and factual developments at the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Our goal is to help keep you aware of changes that impact your work and the communities we serve together.

Enrollment freeze

All provider enrollment applications in the 13 high-risk service areas have been paused, effective Jan. 27, 2026. Read today's news message for more details, and the original Jan. 8 news release announcing the freeze.


Off-cycle revalidation

The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is requiring Minnesota to revalidate all providers who deliver high-risk services. For more details, refer to "Providers of high-risk services require enhanced enrollment screening" on the provider news and updates webpage

Program integrity
