SUD Rates State Plan Amendment approved for Jan. 1, 2026

Minnesota rates for the following substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services will change Jan. 1, 2026:

  • Treatment coordination rate
  • Residential rates for the following levels:
    • ASAM 3.5 High Intensity Residential (daily skilled treatment service)
    • ASAM 3.1 Low Intensity Residential (minimum five hours of skilled treatment services per week)

The new rates are identified on the State Plan Amendment effective Jan. 1, 2026. We are updating the Substance Use Disorder Service Rate Grid with Dollar (DHS-7612) (PDF) and plan to have the new rates reflected on the grid by Jan. 1, 2026.
