Housing Stabilization Services program ends Oct. 31 Minnesota Department of Human Services sent this bulletin at 10/31/2025 01:33 PM CDT Housing Stabilization Services Oct. 31, 2025 Housing Stabilization Services program ends Oct. 31 Today, the Minnesota Department of Human Services issued a news release announcing that the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have approved a State Plan Amendment that will terminate Minnesota’s Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) program. The program will end today, Oct. 31, 2025. That is the last day that services can be delivered. DHS previously announced a tentative termination date of Oct. 31, pending CMS approval. CMS has now confirmed that termination date. All program participants should have already received an official notice of the termination date.
