As of Tuesday, Sept. 30, a 2026 renewal fee invoice has been generated in the Provider Hub for licensed child care center programs with an active or pending reopening status.
Provider Hub users with Authorized Agent and Delegated Authority access received bell notifications within the Provider Hub alerting them their 2026 license renewal fee invoice(s) is available.
What programs need to do
If you haven’t already done so, log in to the Provider Hub to pay the 2026 license renewal fee by credit/debit card or Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment.
Payment must be made for each business license with a 2026 renewal fee invoice that plans to continue operating next year. License renewal payments are non-refundable.
Check out Pay a Fine or Fee for step-by-step instructions.
Who can pay the fee
Provider Hub users with Authorized Agent, Delegated Authority and Create/Submit access are able to pay the fee within the online tool.
Check out Add a User and Change Existing User Access (PDF) for help managing users in the Provider Hub.
When the fee is due
Pay the 2026 license renewal fee for each applicable business license by Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025 to avoid closure of your license.
If you do not pay the license renewal fee, your program license will be closed Dec. 31, 2025, and you will not be able to operate beginning Jan. 1, 2026.
If your program(s) had unpaid fees
If your program(s) had unpaid fees (such as a fine) as of Sept. 30, the original fees have been cancelled and the outstanding fees have been bundled with the renewal fee.
Example: A provider had an unpaid $200 fine. Their license renewal fee is $200. The original, unpaid invoice has been cancelled. The provider’s 2026 license renewal invoice is $400 total. The renewal invoice includes two items: the previous unpaid fine and the renewal fee.
The renewal fee and any outstanding fees must be paid in full to renew a license.
After the fee is paid
After the fee is paid and the payment clears, the license will automatically renew through the next calendar year — with an expiration date of Dec. 31, 2026 — and a new copy of the license will be generated.
Providers can access their renewed license from within the Provider Hub.
