Provider Hub Release Notes

August 21, 2025

This message has been sent to Center Operators of certified child care centers and Authorized Agents of licensed child care centers.

The State of Minnesota made improvements to the Provider Hub yesterday evening. The following updates are now live in the online tool.

Across the Provider Hub

  • Updated agency references in the Provider Hub Terms and Conditions that must be completed by new Provider Hub users upon their first login to reflect the transition to Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF)

Licensing/Certification

  • Resolved issue with file upload functionality for certified child care centers in program location change requests so files are successfully submitted to licensors for review

Child Care Assistance Program

  • Added generation of a PDF documenting submitted CCAP tax information upon submission or change of CCAP tax information by users with Delegated Authority access
  • Updated accreditation and credential list to be in alphabetical order
  • Updated provider rates change requests so that users with Delegated Authority access who submit this change request are also required to update the start date of the new rates

About Release Notes

Provider Hub Release Notes is a refreshed email series focused on sharing recent improvements to the online tool with users.

The State of Minnesota sends Provider Hub Release Notes after improvements are released in the Provider Hub — typically once or twice a month.

We send these emails to Center Operators of certified child care centers and Authorized Agents of licensed child care centers. Please forward or share this information with other Provider Hub users in your organization.

Past release notes are archived on the Provider Hub webpage.

In these release notes, users can expect to find details on improvements made across the various parts of the Provider Hub — currently child care licensing/certification, Child Care Assistance Program provider registration management, Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program participation, and enrollment and attendance recordkeeping.
