Eligible reviewers may receive a $100 gift card stipend upon completion of the grant review process.

All reviewers will be required to sign the DHS conflict of interest policy attesting that no conflicts exist with the proposals they review.
Anticipated Timeline:
- Pre-review virtual training: Week of June 9
- Application review and scoring: June 18 to July 2
- Post-review virtual meeting: Week of July 14

Reviewers can improve their own grant writing and gain insight into the application process through the act of reviewing approximately three to five proposals.
Other benefits include:
- Expanded subject matter knowledge: Learn about issues like service gaps and potential solutions for consideration in future funding
- Larger network of contacts: Meet members from other stakeholder groups who help support health equity and racial justice in Minnesota
- Make a direct impact: Have a voice in improving culturally specific peer services in Minnesota
Potential reviewers should complete the Reviewer Eligibility & Application Form by May 7, 2025, and DHS will reach out to confirm selections. For questions about serving as a reviewer, email phillip.huerta@state.mn.us with the subject line “Grant Reviewer Question.”
