Provider and Agency Hub Update
|
|
contains important information about the Provider Hub rollout plan for family child care providers.
After careful consideration, the Provider and Agency Solutions product team is adjusting the rollout plan for the Provider Hub to family child care. Our adjusted rollout reflects our commitment to deliver a high-quality product and a positive user experience.
What is the new launch plan?
-
The Provider Hub launch will now begin in Summer 2025, and family child care will be transitioned to the Hub in regions over six months.
-
Members of our product team will travel to 11 regions of the state during the rollout, allowing us to deliver in-person training and support to providers in each area of the state, in addition to online learning materials.
-
The redesigned Licensing Information Lookup will launch statewide with the pilot.
Why are we making this change?
Your success is our priority. This new plan allows us to:
-
Provide more in-person support for providers.
-
Quickly identify and fix any issues on a smaller scale before a statewide rollout.
-
Offer providers additional time and support with technology access and skills.
-
Maximize the features we are able to include in the Provider Hub at initial launch.
-
We will share more information about the regional rollout as it is available, including the order of the regional rollout and where and when in-person training will be delivered.
-
We will be mailing a technology resource packet to every family child care provider, including a technology skills self-assessment, a preparation checklist, and resources for accessing technology.
-
We will continue to send updates to keep you informed.
-
We will continue to offer opportunities for providers to share feedback as we build the Provider Hub for family child care providers.
We recognize that adjusting the Phase 3 timeline again and extending the wait for the rollout can be frustrating, and we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to prioritize your needs over rushing to meet a deadline. We are continually adapting and improving, which is a key part of our iterative approach. We’re excited about our progress and are confident that this extended timeline will allow us to deliver a better experience. Your feedback and support throughout this process have been invaluable, and we’re committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. Additional information can be found on the Systems Transformation Initiative webpage.

The Tech Readiness Resource list is available to help connect providers to local technology access, education, and funding resources. Please feel free to print this for any fellow providers who don’t have internet connections already. Licensors can also answer questions or print this out on behalf of their providers.
