Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) will begin enforcing EVV compliance effective Sept. 1, 2024, for all providers who provide services that require the use of EVV. We will start reviewing all providers' EVV usage on Sept. 1, 2024.
If you provide services that require the use of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and have not yet enrolled with HHAeXchange (HHAX), you must enroll now. You must enroll even if you are using a third-party EVV system. Contact HHAX through the HHAX Client Support Portal if you have questions about enrolling or connecting third-party EVV systems.
We sent a memo to providers’ MN–ITS mailboxes July 1, 2024, which included information for EVV enrollment and compliance.
