Minnesota Health Care Programs Fee for Service Outpatient Services Rates Study Preliminary Legislative Report released by DHS


The Department of Human Services (DHS) has released the Minnesota Health Care Programs Fee for Service Outpatient Services Rates Study Preliminary Legislative Report. This preliminary study reports from the two-year analysis conducted by Burns & Associates division of Health Management Associates (HMA Burns) of the current rate-setting methodology for all medical assistance and MinnesotaCare outpatient services, including rates in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment and residential substance use disorder treatment.

The preliminary study has been sent to the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library and can be viewed at Minnesota Health Care Programs Fee for Service Outpatient Services Rates Study.
