We are excited to announce that registration for the Grants, Equity, Access and Research (GEAR) Grantee Showcase webinar is open. During this session, attendees will hear about the ways GEAR provider capacity grants are unique. GEAR provides funding assistance and support for services that enhance equity by improving access for historically underserved populations. Provider capacity grants support culturally specific providers, help small home and community-based services providers in rural and underserved areas build capacity and create accessible funding opportunities through DHS.
Listen to outcomes and experiences from these GEAR capacity grantees:
- Huan Gao — Manager at KangLe LLC
- Deyona Kirk — Executive director of Divine Konnections Inc.
- Ryan Menzel — President/CEO of Homebase Housing Services Inc.
- Nancy Larson, RN, CHPN — Director of nursing at Our Lady of Peace Hospice and Homecare
- Janie Sydor, RN — Nurse case manager at Our Lady of Peace Hospice and Homecare
- Gina Warnke — Director of services at Monarch Support Services
- Patrick Zook, MD — President of the Central Minnesota Dementia Community Action Network.
