SSIS mentors and coordinators are encouraged to review agency contact lists regularly to ensure accuracy of contact information. Up to date SSIS mentor, coordinator, and IT contact information assists SSIS staff in communicating SSIS news and events accurately, effectively, and efficiently. These lists are also used by MNIT’s Tier II Help Desk to communicate important updates including what’s ahead for the Azure project.
Agency contact lists are located on the SSIS Resource page under SSIS Mentor Program. Change requests should be submitted to the SSIS Help Desk and include the contact’s name, role (fiscal and/or worker, mentor/coordinator, IT), email address, and phone number.
SSIS V23.3 included a Security enhancement for passwords which will recognize weak passwords. Weak passwords are now rejected by Active Directory and will display the following message “Password change rejected by Active Directory, try using a better password.”. Examples of rejected passwords are “Passw0rd!” or “Spring2022!”
- New passwords must have at least 8 characters including:
- One lower case
- One upper case
- One digit
- One of the following: ‘#’, ‘+’, ‘=’, ‘&’, ‘$’, ‘%’, ‘_’, ‘-‘, ‘@’, ‘!’, ‘?’
