The Time to Initial Contact with Victims Report, found in SSIS>Tools>General Reports>Child Maltreatment folder, has a defect which causes duplicated rows for some children to appear in the report.
The first row appears with the ‘Required Timeline (Hours)’ column showing one row at 120 with the Timeline override as ‘yes’, and the second row with (Hours) showing 24 without the Timeline Override indicator. The column information in the second row contains the same information as the first row except, at times, the ‘timeline met’ column may be different due to the discrepancy in the ‘Required Timeline’ column. This appears to be related to an issue with how the report looks at timelines for Alleged Victims having a Timeline Override entered before a second intake report was referred to the initial Assessment Workgroup. Agencies can disregard the duplicated row on the report that indicates 24 in the ‘Required Timeline (Hours)’ if there is a duplicate row that shows 120 in this same column. We are working to resolve the issue on the report and will notify agencies when corrected.

SSIS management, mentor leadership, and user support staff have been conducting site visits at local agencies to gather information about agency priorities for improvements in SSIS. The SSIS Business section has a great team of subject matter experts, all of whom have experience as county or tribal case workers or in county accounting. While this expertise is critical to the work we do, we know that talking to current users and agency decision-makers is important as we explore modernization, and improve training and communications. Please reach out to SSIS Manager, Alex Mentes alexandra.mentes@state.mn.us if you would like to host a visit. REMINDER: Agencies who pilot a quarterly release have priority for site visits for one-on-one technical assistance during that pilot. Contact SSIS Change Coordinator, Marcia Ryss marcia.ryss@state.mn.us for information on piloting.
