Purpose: To announce the federal COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) extension and end date that affects COVID-19 waivers for aging and disability services

On Jan. 11, 2023, the federal government extended the COVID-19 public health emergency for an additional 90 days, until April 11, 2023. On Jan. 30, it announced it plans to end the emergency on May 11, 2023.
