In order to receive the reminders and data clean up errors related to claiming for Title IV-E for QRTP placements, workers must ensure they have the correct placement and setting in the Placement/Locations/Absence subfolder. If the placement setting is Group Home- staff operated, Residential program, or Juvenile correctional facility, the reason must be treatment for severe emotional disturbance or treatment for developmental disabilities or related conditions. These combinations will determine the Potential Specialized Setting certification of QRTP. See this video for more clarification: QRTP-Placement Setting and Reason Codes - H5P.com
The QRTP data clean up errors will appear for all placements showing as QRTP in the ‘Potential Specialized Setting Certification’ field, even if the provider is not certified for QRTP. If the provider is not a QRTP certified facility, the QRTP data clean ups can be ignored. Workers should not use the placement reason of Safety/stability just to prevent getting the QRTP data clean up errors. If you have questions about how to enter a QRTP placement in SSIS, contact the SSIS Help Desk.
