DHS requests public comments on EW application

DHS requests public comments on proposed policy changes to the EW application (PDF) before we submit it to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for approval.

As part of the five-year renewal process to continue the EW program, DHS will submit the application to CMS with an effective date of July 1, 2023.

Submit public comments to AASD.PublicComments@state.mn.us by 4 p.m., Feb. 24, 2023.

You can access the EW application electronically: EW application (PDF).

If you are unable to access the EW application electronically, we will provide you with a copy. To make a request, you can:

  • Email DHS Aging and Adult Services Division at dhs.aasd.hcbs@state.mn.us.
  • Send a written request to:
