Purpose: To announce a 30-day public comment period for the Elderly Waiver (EW) application
Comment period begins: 8 a.m., Jan. 26, 2023
Comment period ends: 4 p.m., Feb. 24, 2023
Submit comments to: AASD.PublicComments@state.mn.us
DHS requests public comments on proposed policy changes to the EW application (PDF) before we submit it to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for approval.
As part of the five-year renewal process to continue the EW program, DHS will submit the application to CMS with an effective date of July 1, 2023.

You can access the EW application electronically: EW application (PDF).
If you are unable to access the EW application electronically, we will provide you with a copy. To make a request, you can:
