Family First Prevention Services Act News and Updates
|
|
Greetings,
We have an opportunity for individuals interested in making recommendations when children and youth need placement in a residential treatment facility by becoming a Qualified Individual. This new role is part of the implementation of the federal Family First Prevention Services Act. Please see Qualified Individual document for description of this role.
We are seeking individuals who are community members and/or licensed clinicians to conduct new assessments. This can be a trained culturally competent professional or licensed clinician. The qualified individual must not be an employee of the responsible social services agency (this means an agency employee cannot be hired by another responsible agency to be a QI) or an individual connected to or affiliated with any placement facility.
Visit Qualified Individual for further details, including applying by downloading and completing the Qualified Individual interest inventory application.
Please share this opportunity with your contacts and others that may be interested in this role.
Information meeting is scheduled on Nov. 30, 2022 to learn more about this opportunity. Contact ffpsa.qualifiedindividual.DHS@state.mn.us to register for this informational session.
For information, email questions to: ffpsa.qualifiedindividual.dhs@state.mn.us
