Housing Support program helps people leaving residential treatment to get into housing


People exiting residential behavioral health treatment without a fixed, adequate nighttime residence can get Housing Support for up to three months and keep their income during that period. Improvements to the program include a simplified application process, eliminated income restrictions, and fully state-funded housing for up to three months.

Housing Support Virtual Informational Session

DHS is hosting a virtual informational session about Housing Support. Please register as soon as possible and share details of this event with other residential behavioral health providers.

When: Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 1 to 2:00 p.m.

Who should attend: All residential treatment providers serving people who exit treatment without stable housing.
