Department staff are offering a virtual training opportunity for county and Initiative staff who are responsible for residential placements as well as SSIS mentors.
Training is focused on supporting county and tribal agency case workers and supervisors in meeting the documentation requirements for placements in the new specialized settings:
- Qualified residential treatment program (QRTP)
- Pregnant and parenting youth (PPY)
- Sex trafficked, commercially sexually exploited youth, and at risk youth (ST/CSE/At Risk)
- Supervised independent living settings in a facility (SILS).
Staff will share tools to guide workers through placement process in specialized settings and documentation steps. Flow charts and other supportive information have been developed in response to request during the statewide supervisor listening sessions held earlier this year.
Date: Tuesday, July 19
Time: 9:00-10:30am.
