Vaccine clinic at Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf 5/8

The Minnesota Department of Health, the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division (DHHSD) and Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (MSAD) are offering a COVID-19 vaccine clinic.
This event will take place at MSAD on Saturday, May 8, and will be accessible with ASL interpreters, Deaf interpreters, tactile/ProTactile interpreters, speech-to-text apps and assistive listening devices available. Large print forms and materials will also be available. If you need another accommodation, please contact DHHSD (see below). We encourage family members of people who are deaf, deafblind, hard of hearing and late-deafened to sign up as well!

Who is eligible?
Adults, ages 18 and older. A limited number of vaccines will be available. You must schedule an appointment, see How to sign up below.
How to sign up
Sign up through EventBrite or call 651-964-1514 (videophone) or 800-657-3663 (voice or preferred relay service).
Which vaccine will be given?
This vaccine clinic will offer the Moderna vaccine.
**Important! You will need to come back to MSAD for your second dose on June 5.**
What to expect
- The vaccine is free, you do NOT need to have medical insurance. If you do have medical insurance, please bring your medical insurance card.
- Please wear a mask and stay six feet from others (except when receiving your vaccine). Staff will wear masks.
- Do not come if you have a fever or think you might be sick.
- Plan to wait 15 minutes after your appointment, so staff can monitor you for any side effects.
