Waiver Reimagine: Implementing the streamline service changes

Join the DHS Waiver Reimagine project team to understand more about upcoming changes to Minnesota’s waiver programs to streamline the service menu. We have gathered your feedback through stakeholder input events and have received many questions about the process. We want to update you and review some of the common questions.

In this session, we will:

  • Give an overview of the streamlined service changes planned to be effective Jan. 1, 2021 (contingent on federal approval)
  • Describe the rolling implementation process to move from the current service list to streamlined services throughout 2021
  • Describe operational changes/steps including authorization, billing, enrollment and licensing
  • Share tools / resources (e.g., crosswalk of changes)
  • Outline next steps in the process (i.e., trainings, stakeholder engagement and outreach)
  • Provide information about how to stay connected and receive updates.
