Changes to COVID-19 rate add-on policy for customized living providers

On Aug. 24, 2020, DHS revised Bulletin #20-25-02: Customized living rate add-on payments for settings with confirmed cases of COVID-19 (PDF) to extend the due date for providers submitting attestations to DHS to Sept. 30, 2020. The previous due date was Aug. 31, 2020. All other bulletin content is the same as before.

DHS originally published Bulletin #20-25-02 (PDF) on May 19, 2020, to give information about a temporary rate add-on for customized living services delivered to people who use the Elderly Waiver (EW), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver and Brain Injury (BI) Waiver and who live in a setting that has been determined by the Minnesota Department of Health to have at least one case of COVID-19. Providers that had at least one confirmed COVID-19 exposure on or before July 31, 2020, are eligible for the 45-day add-on payments.
