The SSIS Help Desk team has created a MAPCY Tip Sheet that combines both important general and specific questions and answers. Use this as a front-line reference tool when dealing with MAPCY issues.
The Help Desk has received reports of users unable to use the 10-key number pad on their keyboards while working in SSIS. Technical staff are aware of this issue and have linked it to the newest version (V5.4.2) of Horizon. The 10-key pad still works with Horizon V4.9.0.

To check which version your agency is using, select the question mark "?" button in the top right corner of the Horizon screen, then select "About VMWare Horizon Client." |
If you are unable to use your 10-key pad, you may request that your IT staff uninstall the current version of VM Ware Horizon Client and reinstall the previous version.
Initial information about the new requirement to complete a FASD screening for some children in out-of-home placement can be found in the Overview of 2020 child welfare legislation, DHS Bulletin #20-68-25. More information will be made available soon by DHS.
We recommend that Workers document completion of a FASD Screening in a Case Note in SSIS Chronology. Enter “FASD Screening” as the Subject. Other relevant information should be entered in the Notes section.
The Family First and Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) requires that all staff working in a Title IV-Group Children’s Residential Facility (CRF) receive fingerprint-based “Adam Walsh” background checks in order to meet Title IV-E child safety requirements.
To assist counties and initiative tribes with claiming Title IV-E reimbursements for these placements, we will periodically update the list of facilities that have met the background checks safety requirements.
