Dialectical Behavior Therapy Intensive Outpatient Program (DBT IOP) Monthly Update/Feedback-January 8, 2020

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Intensive Outpatient Program (DBT IOP) holds a monthly DBT Provider call for all involved in or interested in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. DBT IOP calls are scheduled for the Second Wednesday of every month unless otherwise announced from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

New Application Update- There are 3-4 teams who have agreed to test the new online application within the next week or two.   All team leads will receive an email with initial log in information once application is launched.   It will be accessible via the DBT IOP website similar to current application.  The application will have following functions:

  • State certification or recertification without national certification
  • State certification or recertification with national certification
  • Verify Maintenance of Certification (for teams with national certification)
  • Staff update
  • Business/location update

MHIS Update- Detailed data now available of MHIS reporting rates for both Fee-For-Service Medicaid and Managed Care Organizations.  Rates for Jan –June of 2019 available during call for the agencies interested in quick reference.  Agencies reporting at above 70% may request this data.   Agencies reporting at below 70% will be receiving letters to remind of need to submit data, and how to get assistance if needed.   There will be follow up after each reporting period so data can be used to make informed decisions about DBT IOP/other service lines.   Please e-mail dhs.amhis@state.mn.us wtih specific questions, data requests, training requests or to receive training slides.
