Topic: Withdrawal Management Service Implementation Update
As we continue work and move closer to implementation of Withdrawal Management Services in Minnesota, this upcoming Webex will provide updates and the most current information related to Withdrawal Management.
Withdrawal Management Services, were passed during the 2015 legislative session (245F) and have continued to be a part of the larger SUD Reform Implementation. Over this time, DHS has been collaborating with counties, tribes, providers and the community to make sure that strategies are developed to support people getting timely access to services, that there is a continuum of care across the state, and that services support people’s choices so that they are in control of the care they receive.
This WebEx will cover updates from the Behavioral Health Division and the Licensing Division related to implementation of Withdrawal Management Services. As we move closer to potential CMS approval, Licensing will provide information on applying for the 245F license. The Behavioral Health Division will also provide information on status of CMS approval and policy updates related to implementation.
Date: March 18th
Time: 12:00-1:00pm.
