SSIS Fiscal New Worker Training scheduled in Willmar

A SSIS Fiscal New Worker training is scheduled in Willmar on Wednesday October 24, 2018. We must have at least eight people enrolled in order to hold the class. Fewer than eight enrollees will result in this class being cancelled.

See the Fiscal New Worker Training page for more information, registration instructions and course schedule.

Reminder: email send last Monday regarding Tableau Server for agency users

On Monday, Sept. 24, County and AICWI child welfare directors, managers and supervisors were sent an introductory notice regarding the roll-out of Tableau Server for agency users. This email outlined the new Data Dashboard tool and provided instructions for agencies to access the tool. Please reference this previous email for more information. Additionally, the Tableau Server User Guide is now available.

The department has received questions regarding whether the intent is for Tableau to replace SSIS Charting and Analysis. For the time being, the SSIS Charting and Analysis application will remain available to agencies to access data in real-time. The Tableau Server Data Dashboard relies on data retrieved from the SSIS Repository, which does not yet allow for real-time data access. The department will continue to evaluate the efficacy of Tableau replacing SSIS Charting and Analysis moving forward.

For questions about this new tool, email dhs.csp.research@state.mn.us.

SSIS Repository upload

data-upload

The next SSIS Repository upload will be October 25, 2018 for agencies that are not yet centralized.

Note: Agencies no longer need to email the DHS Help Desk or other MNIT staff when monthly uploads have been completed. If an upload is not completed by the deadline, MNIT staff will reach out individually.
