DHS presents Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS) eLearning oppourtunity

The Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS) eLearning module is available. This course is designed to be an introduction and continuing resource for Lead Agencies about Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS). You will learn:

  • The basics of CDCS
  • Roles and responsibilities of all those involved
  • How to review a community support plan
  • What are and are not allowable goods and services
  • The rules around paying spouses and parents of minors 
  • Involuntary exits from CDCS

The entire course takes around half an hour to complete. It is split into multiple videos for flexible use and so you can use it as a reference.
