Edit 437 incorrectly posting for waiver transportation code

DHS is aware that the service agreement edit 437 (“procedure not covered for effective date”) is posting incorrectly on line items for:

  • Waiver transportation code T2003 UC
  • Alternative Care code T2003.

We are working to correct the edit. We will send another notice when it is corrected.

Temporary solution

In the meantime, you can resolve the edit by closing the line item to June 30, 2016, and adding a new line beginning July 1, 2016.

If the provider has already billed, edit 156 (“paid claim outside line dates”) will post, which will not allow the line to be split. In this case, please do not make changes to the service agreement. If you need to make urgent changes to the service agreement (such as adding a service) you may ask the provider to submit a claim takeback. This will allow you to split the line and make changes to the service agreement.
