Americans with Disabilities Act 26th anniversary celebration

You are invited to “Celebrating Diversity in our Community,” the 26th anniversary celebration of the ADA:

3 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016

Minnesota History Center

345 W. Kellogg Blvd.

St. Paul, MN 55102 (map / transit)

The event is free and open to the public, and includes:

  • Keynote address from Ken Rodgers, chair of the Minneapolis Advisory Committee on People with Disabilities, followed by a panel discussion on the joys and challenges of living with a disability in a culturally diverse community, from 3 to 5 p.m.
  • Dance lessons and performance from Angelique Lele, Ms. Wheelchair Minnesota 2015, and Young Dance, from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
  • Music and dancing with classic rock band Tamarak, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
