Description
The Gaps Analysis study gathers information about the capacity of the Minnesota services systems (that is, home and community-based services system and the continuum of mental health services and supports) to serve older adults, people with disabilities, children, youth and adults living with mental health conditions. DHS conducts the Gaps Analysis study every two years. Input is gathered from lead agencies (counties, tribes, and managed care organizations), and local community members including people who receive services, caregivers, advocates, and providers regarding their perceptions about:
- Barriers to getting services
- Services that are needed but hard to get or unavailable
- Use of services
Presenters will provide an overview of the 2013-2014 study, and share examples of what the results suggest.
Participants are encouraged to review the information about the Gaps Analysis Study (including reports from the Current Study) available on the DHS Gaps Analysis website at http://mn.gov/dhs/gaps-analysis/
