About the Position

The General Counsel is a key member of MDHR's senior leadership team and serves as the chief legal counsel for the State’s civil rights enforcement agency.

The General Counsel manages the agency’s legal team and plays a critical role in moving forward strategic impact litigation to advance civil rights across the State. 

An ideal candidate is a strategic leader, solution-oriented, provides sound legal judgment on complex issues, has excellent interpersonal relationship skills, and has experience managing a talented team.  

Job Details

Closing Date: Thursday, February 16, 2023

Salary Range: $43.94 - $63.02 / hourly; $91,746 - $131,585 / annually
