Governor Dayton’s Council on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday cordially invites you to” The Power of Telling Your Story: 30 Years of Us”. The 2016 Statewide Celebration is free and open to the public.
Schedule: 9:00 Youth Rally –Ordway Concert Hall
10:15 Assemble for March Re-Enactment
10:30 March Begins from main entrance of the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts
11:00 – 1:00 Celebration Program – Ordway Music Theater

Parking: Parking will be available for $3.00 per vehicle at the St. Paul College Ramp, 235 Marshall Avenue beginning at 8:00 am. Attendees will be given a free bus pass to use to connect to the Ordway via Route 21.
Free Transit: Free transit passes will be available to use from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on January 18 courtesy of Metro Transit. Begininng on January 11, passes can be printed off at https://www.snapsurveys.com/wh/s.asp?k=144891905596, or picked at the following locations:
- Office of the Governor, St. Paul
- Hallie Q. Brown Community Center, St. Paul
- Minneapolis Urban League, Plymouth Avenue
- Sabathani Community Center, Minneapolis
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) INTERPRETATION AND COMMUNICATTION ACCESS REAL-TIME TRANSLATION WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE CELEBRATION.
