If you are a veteran and looking for a job, or interested in exploring new careers or educational opportunities, come to the Minnesota Veterans Career Fair on Tuesday, July 16. It’s the largest veterans career fair in Minnesota with approximately 100 Minnesota businesses with current job openings participating. This free event features: 

1. Employers, who can provide company information, speak with you about current job openings and interview you for open positions on site.
2. College representatives who can speak about educational and training options.
3. Service providers who can assist with your employment-related needs, as well as provide information and referrals to non-work related services for veterans.
4. Resource area for resume critique and job search advice.
5. Workshops about job search techniques and starting your own business.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Earle Brown Heritage Center, 6155 Earle Brown Drive in Brooklyn Center. There is ample free parking.All former and current members of the U.S. military are welcome. If you require any special accommodations to attend the career fair, please contact Jennifer Pettit-Hanson, 651-259-7298 by July 12.
