UCARE
The State Rapid Response Team (SRRT) received a Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, 29 U.S.C. § 2101 et seq. ("WARN") letter from UCare informing us of the permanent layoff of approximately 102 employees from their facility located at:
- 600 Stinson Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55413
According to the WARN notice, certain UCare’s state contracts were acquired by Medica, resulting in UCare’s support for Medicaid contracts to end on October 1, 2026. As a result, employee layoffs are expected to begin on October 2, 2026, and continue through November 2026. The impacted workforce includes employees who work remotely from their homes.
Employees are not represented by a union. There are no bumping rights.

Sr, MBE Reporting & Data Analyst, MBE Representative, MBE Specialist, Member Service Rep, Oversight Auditor, Preadmission Screening Coordinator, Proofreader, Quality Improvement Specialist, Restricted Recipient Admin Coordinator, Restricted Recipient Coordinator Sr. Auditor, SNP Sales Specialist, Social Determinants of Health Specialist, Transportation Rep, Utilization Review Specialist.
