ANNOUNCEMENTS

March is explore construction employment month

The construction industry has a variety of opportunities to explore!

With nearly 148,000 people working in the industry in Minnesota, construction made up just over 5% of total employment in the state last year. That's one in every 20 jobs! Construction industry wages are about $15,000 above the average for all industries. Average annual wages in 2025 were just over $91,200. Most construction jobs can be started with a high school diploma or GED and on-the-job training. People with construction and other trades skills are in high demand now and are expected to remain in high demand into the future.

Explore opportunities in construction at the March 11 Hiring Event with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Apprenticeship 101 workshop on March 12. Both events are hosted at the CareerForce Minneapolis location. See details below!
