Great news! Customers and staff can now search our Community Partners with a new, interactive map. The map has been posted to the website and can be found on the Community Partner Roster Page.

With the capabilities of Tableau software, it was made accessible and has been reviewed by screen-reader software. It is readable by computer, tablet, and phone.

Promote Your Business with an Elevator Pitch Video

An elevator pitch video is a short, two-to-five-minute overview of the services you offer. These videos are a great tool for potential customers and SSB staff to learn more about your business. Completed videos will be posted on the SSB Community Partner webpages in two locations - one under Informational Videos and now in our new, interactive map on the Community Partners Roster page. Research Article on Person-Driven Planning

The Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling has released an article to present practice-based evidence of the transition to competitive integrated employment using person-driven planning. Click this link to read the research article.

The Minnesota State Services for the Blind Vocational Rehabilitation program receives 78.69 percent of its funding through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. For federal fiscal year 2024, the total amount of grant funds awarded were $10,410,449. The remaining 21.3 percent of the costs ($2,817,568) were funded by Minnesota state appropriations.
