Free Toolbox!
Beginning in July, SSB Staff and Community Partners will begin building a new toolbox filled with great techniques to build your customers' confidence. We will kick off a new fiscal year in July with training to help us all define self-advocacy and self-awareness. Every month, we will continue building the toolbox with resources, conversations, and shared ideas.
Have you heard of person-centered practices? It is not a trend.
As part of the statues that governs our Community Partners building a positive attitude toward blindness, low vision or being DeafBlind, person-centered practices is a requirement for all our partners. We hope to provide you with resources, discussions, and tools that can help you articulate how your customers can achieve positive personal awareness as you apply person-centered practices in your interactions with customers. These resources will be available to SSB staff as well.
